only problem with pg is that the community is smaller than mysql..so there isn't a whole lot of material/tutorials/helpfulness

I would hope hearing "Youtube is powered solely by postgres" wouldn't be a basis for a server software decision.

Such decisions merit a bit more serious research on the topic.

I am aware that I can validate a field within a Model using $model_instance.validate(). Are there any "built-in" facilities to validate multiple fields in a Model? (e.g. a Model is invalid if (model.parameter=='depth' and model.value < 0))
